Mortuary Chapel, Bath Abbey Cemetery
Mortuary Chapel, Bath Abbey Cemetery
This cemetery was opened in 1884 but is now closed for burials unless you have a family vault. It is a lovely place to walk and admire the trees and views of Bath, nice mowed paths but otherwise quite overgrown.
The grave of Arnold Ridley (Godfrey in Dad's army) is here, and rear Admiral John Bythesea who won a Victoria Cross in the Crimea.
