Common Ragwort Near New Hartley
Common Ragwort Near New Hartley
A renowned 'weed' of paddocks, pastures and waste ground, the yellow flower heads of common ragwort are highly attractive to bees and other insects, including the cinnabar moth. Despite its bad reputation, it adds a welcome splash of colour to the British countryside. This specimen, amongst many more, was seen alongside the track shown at Link.
