Cow Green Reservoir hides a lot of secrets, some of which should have been cleared away before the valley of the Upper Tees was flooded, as this large area of rusty scrap shows, a lot of it wasn't. The area around the shores are now a National Nature Reserve, but is this detritus really acceptable?
