Blossom Gate, Kilmallock, Limerick
Blossom Gate, Kilmallock, Limerick
One of the more substantial remains of Kilmallock's 13th and 14th century town walls (of which just fragments remain), and the only surviving gateway passage in the town. A three-storey tower with an off-centre gateway arch (partly modernised), it spans the road on the west side of town.
