Hill walker beside Ashgill Force
The scale of the waterfall can be gauged by the size of the individual on the path which is beneath the overhanging rocks that create the fall. The B6277 passes immediately above the fall; the springing masonry of the northern end of the arch of Ashgill Bridge can be seen above the cascade.
