Geograph - photograph every grid square

These pictures bring back memories, Chris, & the team you've listed, though you missed out Terry Cooper! In my late teens, Elland Road was the place to be. I was there, in 1971, at the Fairs Cup final, & just happened to be at the ground again on the day in 1972 when they brought back the FA cup. I actually laid my hand on the hallowed trophy. I still have the commemorative mug that I won from the Yorkshire Evening Post, & autographs of most of those names. Theatre of dreams alright, but I can't see those glory days ever returning. It was a game then, & the players were gentlemen (well, most of them were). I'm no longer a football fan.
