Winfarthing WW1 War Memorial
The carved stone memorial has a central marble panel on which are the twelve names of the men lost in the Great War, two of whom are buried in the churchyard. A third soldier also lies buried in Winfarthing churchyard; Private Victor Allen TAYLOR who was awarded the Russian Medal of St. George, 3rd Class. He died of his injuries 15th July 1920.
