Barrow Park Cenotaph
The Barrow Park Cenotaph is the main war memorial in the town of Barrow-in-Furness; it is located on a hill in Barrow's main public park. It is made from Portland limestone with iron railings and bronze plaques. The memorial is in the form of a circular platform accessible via four flights of steps having piers and balustrades with bronze insets and guilloche ornament. This is surmounted by a tapered square shaft with a bronze wreath on each face near top, also a bronze relief of a mourning soldier with head bowed in front of two crossed flags.

The memorial, which was unveiled on 11 November 1921, is Grade II-listed (LinkExternal link Historic England List Entry Number: 1218631).
