Metrolink Tram crossing Radcliffe Viaduct
Metrolink Tram crossing Radcliffe Viaduct
Originally constructed to carry the East Lancashire railway to Bury, the viaduct, together with a series of bridges. now carries the Metrolink tramway over the River Irwell and around the eastern side of Radcliffe.

Here Metrolink double tram (no 3022 and 3059) is seen crossing the viaduct. The view is from Coronation Park. The backs of the houses in Irwell Street are in the foreground.
