On Sunday 4 August 1968 a number of privately organised railtours ran to signal the end of normal steam operation on British Railways, prior to the final official tours the following Sunday.
This was the RCTS no.2 special crossing Bradshaw Brook Viaduct above Entwistle. The train is hauled by Britannia class locomotive 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' and Stanier Black 5 44781.
