The label refers to the status as a post box which should be used for returning home Covid-19 test kits. The postperson who opens it will be specially trained and equipped with PPE, and will separately wrap the contents to limit contamination.

During the Covid 19 Pandemic of 2020, certain postboxes were designated as priority postboxes for collecting and delivering coronavirus tests around the country and supporting the national testing programme.
