Headstone of Robert Spurgeon at Mulbarton
It would appear from the decoration on the stone that Robert Spurgeon was a builder.
The lower background to the design is brickwork and the tools represented (left to right) are a 2 foot folding rule, hammer, upturned plasterer's hawk perhaps, bricklayer's trowel and dividers (I think).
I would welcome any corrections.
