A popular trip from Badentarbat Pier was the round trip of the Summer Isles with time ashore on Tannara Beag and Tannara Mòr. Gaelic speakers will know that Acarsaid Mhor means Great Harbour or Great Port, so I assume OS has corrupted the original Gaelic spelling in place names on Tannara Beag.
