Aid Crag
Aid Crag
In the middle to late 19th Century, there were coal workings in the shadow of Aid Crag which supplied the Redesdale Ironworks in nearby Ridsdale via a wagonway to the village which is now a public footpath. No obvious signs of this industry remain at the crag.
