Sunny Sussex rather than the Sunshine Coast (Costa del Sol), as this was before the days of the package holiday cheap flights to the Mediterranean. Instead, Southdown Motor Services would take you from murky Merseyside by coach to your seaside hotel in Beautiful Bognor or Wonderful Worthing. The company converted a standard double-deck bus to serve as a mobile exhibition/ticket office. It is seen parked outside Liverpool Central Station, in what was a prime location in the main shopping area. The poster accurately dates the photo, with the bus being on site for one day only.

This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
