Tomich Pumping Station
Tomich Pumping Station
The building among the trees in the background at right is marked on some maps as a pumping station. There are also several pipes crossing the burn by the road bridge just upstream. This served the oil pipeline from the underground tanks of the World War II fuel depot of Inchindown to the north, to the naval base at Invergordon. Thanks to Portkil for information.
