The Malvern Theatres is located on Grange Road and Priory Park. Originally known as the Winter Gardens, which consisted a theatre (Festival Theatre) and cinema (Picture House), this suffered through several closures in the mid and late 20th century, except this is now a thriving centre for the arts since 1885. The theatre includes two theatres, a four hundred-seat cinema, a bar and restaurant inside; a couple of sculptures and exhibitions can be seen too. I visited here in 2014 and 2019 to watch plays (one of which was Blood Brothers and I saw that on 31st January 2019). It's been heard this was the site of one of the world's first film festivals.
