taken 4 years ago, near to Great Haywood, Staffordshire, England

Remains of a footbridge across the River Trent
Remains of a footbridge across the River Trent
This was the lane from Pasturefields to Little Ingestre, which went over the canal at bridge 77 and then crossed the Trent. The old large-scale OS maps show a ferry here in the 1880s and a footbridge in the 1900s and 1920s.
