SK9934 : Fine red-brick house

taken 6 years ago, near to Ropsley, Lincolnshire, England

Fine red-brick house
Fine red-brick house
One of the few red brick buildings in the High Street, this carries a datestone for 1855.

It is laid in a curious hybrid bond, being mostly double Flemish bond, but with the odd row of headers like an English bond.
