Presumably the Governors of the Isleworth Blue School were given some land here, to fund the school - although how come it was in what would then have been rural Kent, the other side of London? Isleworth Blue School was in Lower Place, Isleworth, now converted into offices (see TQ1675 : Old Blue School).
