Cairn on Carrs Top
It's not entirely clear why there is a substantial cairn here - this is a long ridge and not a particularly prominent eminence upon it. There's a trig point 20m higher up and about 350m to the west south west, which probably commands a better view. It perhaps marks a junction of tracks, which start to become numerous and confusing further downhill, or maybe merely represents the first availability of some rock to build one for those climbing from below.
