Ram with ewes near to Greenhead Farm
The sheep are in a field close to Greenhead Farm and may be owned there. The animal of interest is close to the centre of the image; it's a ram and can be seen to be wearing a sort of harness; the ram is with the ewes in order to mate with them. When it does a dye held within the harness marks the ewe's back showing that she's been mated. The dye can be varied in colour to show which ram has mated with each ewe.
