Waste ground at west end of Greenfoot Quarry
Waste ground at west end of Greenfoot Quarry
The disused Greenfoot Quarry lies south of the A689 and north of the Weardale railway line. There's a flooded hole at the quarry itself which lies unseen beyond the flat land in the image.
