NT9239 : Scottish postbox in England?

Scottish postbox in England?
Scottish postbox in England?
This post box, no TD12 72, outside Etal Post Office, whilst firmly set in English soil, lacks the EiiR cypher that would normally be included, but instead just the Crown of Scotland. This would suggest that it was sourced from Scotland. A possible explanation is that is in the TD (Teviotdale) post code area, primarily covering the Scottish Borders region of Scotland. For a wider view see NT9239 : Etal Post Office.
