Geograph - photograph every grid square

The track passing Wythwaite, and followed by "A Pennine Journey" is one of those rather vaguely marked on the map as "Other route with public access" without much clue as to what forms of transport (apart from on foot) are allowed for that access. Signs at either end say "Public route" which does not provide much in the way of enlightenment and the Ordnance Survey 1:25000 map legend suggests checking with the local highway authority as to the exact rights available - not a lot of use when you are standing in your wellies at the gate... As we were on foot, we had every confidence that we were allowed here.
