Access to Trans Pennine Trail from Garside Street
Access to Trans Pennine Trail from Garside Street
The gates at the path that leads from the Trans Pennine Trail on to Garside Street consists of two galvanised tubular panels partly sheeted. This design has been tested and proved to inhibit motorbikes whilst allowing access to pedestrians and users of most sizes of mobility vehicles.

Previously there was a kissing gate here SJ9594 : So much for accessibility! and before that a squeeze stile SJ9594 : Squeeze Stile. This new style entrance was erected in 2018 SJ9594 : Kissing gate replaced by squeeze stile.

A new notice SJ9594 : Share with care notice has been recently attached reminding people that the trail is shared with equestrians.
