Geograph - photograph every grid square

Originally the Airedale and Wharfedale College, latterly the Horsforth Campus of Leeds City College (a further education college). The facility closed in June 2017 but a website still available at the time of submitting these photos showed that the campus once offered courses including hairdressing, beauty therapy, sports, horticulture, conservation, animal care and construction.

An article in the Yorkshire Evening Post in October 2020 reported that the city council had in principle approved plans to build 152 affordable houses on the site, which is situated adjacent to the ring road, but there was local opposition to the traffic and demand for school places that would result and full planning approval is still pending as of January 2021.
