The second member of the crew was shovelling snow clear in front of the ambulance which was struggling to gain traction. After taking the photo I asked if they wanted assistance but he declined the offer.

14 January saw the deepest snowfall in this part of Leeds for at least five years (about 8cm). The black-and-white photos in this set were taken on a digital camera after dark with a ISO setting of 3200 and exposure times between 1/125 and 1/15 second.
