Earlier in the day First Bus had rerouted the 49 service from Bramley via the main A647 into Leeds due to buses getting stuck on the hills either side of the Aire valley at Kirkstall.

14 January saw the deepest snowfall in this part of Leeds for at least five years (about 8cm). The black-and-white photos in this set were taken on a digital camera after dark with a ISO setting of 3200 and exposure times between 1/125 and 1/15 second.
