Commerce House and 91 - 93 and 89 Monnow Street
Commerce House and 91 - 93 and 89 Monnow Street
Buildings on Monmouth's main street. Commerce House, on the left, dates from the early 19th Century and retains its Victorian Italianate fašade on the left, although it has been much altered by the insertion of a roadway on the right, giving an exit from Monnow Keep. Maps suggest that this may have been inserted or at least widened in the c.1960s when the area behind became a bus garage.

89 Monnow Street, on the right, is originally 16th Century but refronted in the early 19th Century. Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link.
