Reeds cut on Cell 1, Ouse Fen
Reeds cut on Cell 1, Ouse Fen
With Bitterns more established on later parts of the reserve Cell 1, or Cuckoo Fen as it has been christened, can be partially cut and cleared. this ensures the reedbed doesn't get too dry and clogged, which isn't good for Bitterns.
