Located on the up platform at Torre Station, the signal box no longer controls trains passing through this station, however a group of local enthusiasts have preserved this rather splendid structure. They have retained the lever frame and block instrument panel and with the aid of some electronic wizardry can re-create movements once controlled by this box. As per usual though they have experienced a degree of vandalism over the years and the photographer cannot vouch that the box is still preserved intact.
