My father used to travel to Dunbar from Galashiels on business once a week and during the bad winter of 1962/63 he stopped on the road between Humbie and Haddington to photograph his Ford Consul LS 8286 between snow drifts. LS was the old registration plate for the county of Selkirkshire. On my 1963 O.S. One-Inch Map the road is classified as the A 6137, but nowadays it is the B 6368. This photograph was copied from a Kodachrome slide dated March 1963.
