Hamlyn House and Archway Mall

Located beside Archway underground station and set back from Junction Road, Hamlyn House looms over the shopping mall. The office block in the background on the right is Hill House. A small market operated on the paved area in front for a number of years but was stopped when the site was acquired by new owners in 2007. Islington council have issued a public consultation document discussing redevelopment options for the site ranging from refurbishment to a total rebuild.
