Hunslet cemetery
A civic cemetery in south-east Leeds, consisting of three parts: the original cemetery of 1845 opened under the 1842 Leeds Burial Act to the east of Middleton Road, which was originally called Woodhouse Hill Cemetery; the 'west cemetery' of 1918 on the other side of the road on the site of the former Belmont House and its grounds; and the 'new cemetery' of 1959 to the south of the original. The original east cemetery is a grade II listed park (list entry 1001678) and the east cemetery entrance, lodges and chapel are separately listed.
