Outwood Trail, Ringley Road Bridge
Outwood Trail, Ringley Road Bridge
The bridge carrying the A667 (Ringley Road West) over the route of the former East Lancashire Railway’s Clifton Junction to Accrington line in a deep cutting just to the south of Ringley Road Station (SD7705 : Ringley Road Station).

The line was closed in December 1966 and the track was lifted shortly afterwards. The route of the line through to Radcliffe has been converted into a footpath and cycleway known as the Outwood Trail.
