Replacement Milestone, A643, Lindley Moor Road
The milestone is located on the south side of the road, opposite the Wappy Spring public house. Metal plate attached to stone post, WR casting design.
It was erected by Huddersfield Council in 2021 as a replacement for the original milestone that was removed when nearby land was redeveloped. See Link. For details of the original milestone, see Link.
