The location is Thames Drive.

The bus on the left is a Southend Corporation bus on normal service 68 which was operated by open-top buses during the summer period. The second bus belonged to the Eastern National company and was operating a special enthusiasts' tour around Essex. Both buses had started life with normal enclosed top decks. Southend 313 is a Leyland PD3 with Massey bodywork built in 1958; Eastern National 2383 is a Bristol KSW dating from 1953.

This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Link
