Tram 663 (originally 327) is one of the 25 'Coronation' cars built in 1952/53. It is one of 3 of the type which has survived and at the time of writing (2021) is under restoration as part of the Blackpool Heritage Tramway fleet.

Behind it can be seen the iconic Lewis's department store, opened in 1964, closed in 1996 and subsequently rebuilt. (This was Lewis's of Liverpool, not to be confused with the John Lewis Partnership.)
Blackpool Tower

A Grade I listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1205810 LinkExternal link ), Blackpool Tower is almost 520 feet (158m) in height. It was first opened to the public on 14 May 1894.

Although inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Blackpool’s tower differs in that it is not free-standing. Its base is hidden by the building which houses Blackpool Tower Circus.
