Pool alongside the Outwood Trail near Ringley Road

This large pool is at the side of the trail. It doesn't seem to be marked on maps but must be a permanent feature as there is a bridge/causeway across it.

The Outwood Trail is a cycling and walking route which runs along the disused railway line between Prestwich and Radcliffe, passing attractive, ancient clough woodlands it is part of the Irwell Valley Way and National Cycle Route 6. The Irwell Sculpture Trail also uses this route.
