This notice, erected by Prestwood Nature, is at the east side of Boug's Meadow and has the following wording:

5. Waggon Road

Rabbits and nettles now
colonise a good portion
of the area, but the path
of the "Waggon Road"
can still be seen.
Extending along the east
boundary of the copse is
the medieval route
along the valley floor to
Missenden Abbey.

Before the construction of the A413 bypass
and the Link Road in the 1960s, it was still
used by children making their way from the
north end of the village to the school. Today,
birds and butterflies are the main users.
