Darlington Corporation bus 20 on service 3 is a Daimler Roadliner with Roe body, new in 1967. The corporation's bus operation one of several that succumbed to the aggressive competitive tactics of Stagecoach in the late 1980 after deregulation of bus services. Whilst most of this area is pedestrianised, Prebend Row itself is still accessed by buses. The buildings behind the bus have been replaced by modern retail redevelopment.
