Notice on Queen's Quay – 1968
A reminder of the days when the bulk of carriage from the docks and quays was by horse.

Interestingly the sign has reused an older one advertising a Bristol firm manufacturing portable buildings. The old text reads “Jennings Portable Building Co, Bristol – bungalows garages and small sheds”. An internet search for this company produced zero results.
