Birch Tor
Birch Tor
Viewed from the track at Vitifer Tin Mine. The enclosure in the middle distance is one of the Four Aces or Jan Reynolds' Cards about which there is a fanciful folk tale. More mundanely, these enclosures were actually rabbit-proof plots for growing vegetables for the miners of Vitifer and Golden Dagger.
