Following the easing of Covid-19 lockdown since January 2021, non-essential shops were allowed to reopen the Monday of this week and queues formed outside some of the larger shops including Primark and Debenhams, due to the limiting of number of people inside the shops.

Primark is an Irish clothing retailer operating in a variety of countries, It was founded in 1969 in Dublin. Its UK operations are registered in England and Wales. Primark is a subsidiary of international food, ingredients and retail group Associated British Foods.
