Needle's Eye
The 'Needle's Eye' label on old maps is always at this location, although the rock arch further out on Spital Point is possibly more commonly known by this name. The tunnel is not permanently open, closing up when sand builds up on the seaward side and with high tides washing through when it's exposed again.
