The Grand Junction Arms, Bulbourne
The Grand Junction Arms, Bulbourne
The pub at Bulbourne, just outside Tring, stands right by the canal from which it takes its name. The canal is now generally referred to as the Grand Union (the name adopted in 1929) but the pub retains the old name. In this view it looks closed but in fact trade was brisk in the garden to the rear; at the time pubs could only serve outside due to Covid-19 restrictions.
