The stained glass featuring the lighthouse looked fantastic at night. Thanks to John Palmer for the following:
The building in your photo used to be owned by Eastern Telegraph (later Cable & Wireless), which explains the window showing Britannia, sat on the world, and connected to her Empire by cables. The ship and lighthouse indicate her control of the sea. The building is grade II listed, and when it was badly damaged by fire on the last night of the blitz, it had to be rebuilt 'as was'.
