Looking up the Maesnant
Looking up the Maesnant
With Pumlumon Fawr in the distance. A small weir, now disused, which diverted some of the stream water into the pipeline from Llyn Llygad Rheidol can be seen ahead; there is an alternative, active, method of extraction just below it. Also seen is the remains of a stone enclosure, marked as a sheepfold on early maps. The track climbing on the left is the usual route up Pumlumon.
