Cranes in Chains
Cranes in Chains
The former electricity substation on the corner of Tib Street and Thomas Street in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter is managed by The Outhouse, an outdoor project space for public art, and has developed something of a cult following in recent years. The once-inconspicuous brick building has been used as a canvas by some of Manchester's most talented street artists.

The latest mural to adorn its wall is “Cranes in Chains” by Qubek, a Manchester-based graffiti artist and muralist. His work can be found right across the city, including many walls and boardings around the Northern Quarter (see LinkExternal link for some examples).
